Ying & Gerry's Wedding - Dearborn

Ying & Gerry's wedding was my first wedding this year. So I was pretty excited to start the wedding season again. Ying & Gerry are very sweet people. They have had a couple of funny incidents leading up to the big day. Like Gerry getting a plate of pasta spilled down him back at the rehearsal dinner & Ying getting pulled over by the cops on the way back from the salon to get ready. (the cop didn't give her a ticket!)
The rest of their day was beautiful & easy going. They celebrated their union at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dearborn then the rehearsal dinner was there as well. I must say it was a very beautiful church & hall. By the way, the priest told me a did a very good job of being discreet while photographing & that he really appreciated that. :) yea me!!! They didn't do any dancing but they did have a mariachi band & a 4 piece string quartet. Plus after the ceremony Ying chanced into a beautiful traditional Chinese red dress, mailed from her mother who could not be there.

Ahhhh vacation....

Well its been a couple of days that the baby & I are back from vacationing in Florida visiting my parents. The first week of weather was aweful. The second week was wonderful. Xavier & I hung out at the pool, and my parents took us on all sorts of little adventures. Of course his grandparents spoiled him silly. So now we are home & I am ready to get back to work on some new adventures in photography. I will be having some of my photos on the walls of Bean & Leaf Cafe in Rochester! Also in Rochester I will be taking photos at the Green Baby store. To help celebrate Earth day we will be doing some type of promo. Don't have all the details yet... but I will keep you posted!!
In the meantime Xavier & I will be thinking about our sunny days in Florida & hoping Michigan's sun will stay out for awhile!!

Baby photos - Plymouth

Its my little guys latest photos! He is now 5months old and the time has just gone by so fast. Having my own little model I believe has made me a better photographer. I am able to try out a couple of techniques before I try them out on any body elses children! Lucky for me my little man doesn't mind his Mama always snapping the camera. SAY CHEEZE!!

A girl and her bike are a great thing. A hot girl & a motorcycle is a VERY sexy thing!! I really loved taking these photos, a different side of my usual portraits.
