My big news!

I am about to join the Hot Mamas Club.
My newest muse will make his (yes, I found out it will be a boy) debuts sometime around Sept 21. Due to this unexpected surprise, I had to actually cancel 2 weddings in fear that I might be delivering on their wedding dates!!
More news to follow. As I try to take my own maternity photos!!

Candis & Matthew's Engagement session

For Candis & Matthew we drove to Belle Isle. On the way there I was able to get to hear how they met & their first date. (Your so romantic Matt! lol) It was such a beautiful sunny day. Belle Isle offers lots of structures to pose around. Our biggest challenge was trying to find some shade so that they didn't have to squint!! I will be photographing their wedding in August.

A tribute to Joesph Rodriguez

The man the myth the legend....
My Uncle Joe, aka Tio Joe. Has passed on May 16th 2009.
He was a man full of keeping his Hispanic heritage & family values strong. He taught Spanish at U of D high school for 30 years. In which he was respectably called Senor, served in the Marines, and was very socially active. There is so much to say about my Uncle but most of which is that he will be truly missed by me and those that have met him.

Steve & Patricia's Engagement session

Steve & Patricia's engagement session so much fun.We had a great time walking through the park. It was a grey kind of day. But they had on their best smiles that brightened up the session.They were so sweet & easygoing, they even were kind enough to laugh at all of my jokes(and I will admit... I am not that funny!) Their wedding will be in July & I am looking forward to photographing them again!

What I did on my Spring vacation

In April I was fortunate enough to visit my parents in Florida,
along with my sister & her children. We had great weather & good times. Of course as a photographer the photos never end. I have a ton to go through from the trip. And can't wait to show you more. Hopefully I can accomplish this feat before wedding season begins! Luckily when we returned home, Michigan has finally sprung into Spring. Happy Weather everyone!
