Gee... I am cute!

These kids (luckily) really enjoyed getting there photos taken. Not only that, they were cute as buttons!! I took a picture of each child individually but before you know it, the older ones wanted back in on the action. This ended up being one of my many favorites from the session.

It's ME!!

Wow what a weekend. Now its time to get back to work!! So can't party like I used to! But what a great weekend it was. The Movement Festival was so much fun. Great music, wonderful people watching. The weather was awesome!! I took my camera to the festival of course. And caught myself on the screen!! LOVE IT!!!

A day in the life....

A day in the life of Rebecca Gutierrez....
Some days its just go go go.... I shouldn't be complaining though. I am not even a MOM & I know their days are much tougher.
But as a regular ol photographer I thought I would fill you in on my Saturday May 24. Started my day with an 10:30 apt. photographing David & Linda's Wedding. A small day wedding that was very lovely. Located in Twin Lakes Golf Club. Very scenic... ( you will have to wait for the pictures) Came home & worked on my garden. What I really wanted to do was take a nap. But with this great Michigan weather I felt I had to take advantage of it. Then it was off to the Detroit Electronic Music Festival if you have never been I strongly suggest going. It will last the entire Memorial weekend. The music is awesome & the crowd speaks for itself. It is such a festive affair. Plus its so great to see Detroit filled with so many young people having a good time. On our way home at 1:30 we got the official meal of White Castle burgers. At sat in front of the TV to enjoy them. I think I was out a 1/2 hr afterwards!! But the weekend continues.... Whooo Hoooo!!!

Zooooooo

I love going to the zoo. I usually try to go twice a year. Once in the spring & then in the fall. But I could easily go more then that. Our Detroit zoo is beautiful. I have heard people complain that you can not see the animals. That you have to walk too far. Seriously folks I can easily get into an uproar about all of this. (no pun intended!!) So we got to go today. And I was indeed a happy camper!!

Big kids

These girls are really not kids. They are teenagers. But hell, I call myself a kid & I am well into my 30's. Anyways, these girls were so much fun. Plus, they are drop dead gorgeous!!!! I will admit that in the front of my mind I was worried about making sure that the images were age appropriate. I hope they & their parents like them!!

Wedding Bells

With May flowers come the season of Weddings my first of the year was for Jamie & Robb a very fun & sweet couple with a beautiful little girl. They were married at Madonna University. A very beautiful place.

Happy Boy

This was such a fun shoot. We took advantage of all the photo opportunities. Inside & outside. He was such a cutie took a couple of tumbles but kept on smiling. The absolutely sweetest of little boys. Oh and I was told he liked to flirt with girls with dark hair ;)

Anthony & I head out to Chicago quite a bit. We always have a good time. One of Anthony's BFF was nice enough to pose for me. She did a lovely job & we found some great spots for her to strut her stuff!
